Birthdays have a way of sneaking up on you…

Cake compliments of http://www.heartloveplace.org
But not this one – this one has me thinking.
This week -April 10th to be exact –
The Heart of Torch Lake will be one year old!
I’ve had so much fun crafting this blog & I’ve learned so much about the technology behind it. I’ve learned more about how I fit into the writing process & I’ve learned new things about myself.
I cannot find enough words to express the gratitude I feel toward everyone who has read, kayaked, liked, sailed, shared, commented, hiked, facebooked, crafted, emailed, boated, called, pinterested, laughed, cooked, swam, cried, followed, or in any other way encouraged me to play with this blog.
I’m sending you these photos with thanks & all possible love & gratitude!
“Tángeyoo” – Papua New Guinea
“Kiitoksia” – Finnish
“Mahalo” – Hawaiian
“Qujanaq” – Greenlandic
“Nich’an tiox” – Guatemalan
“Ahxéhee‘” – Navajo
“Efharisto” – Greek
“Asante: – Swahili
& plain old English
Thank You!!!
I’m looking forward to more writing, some changes, & the hope that I’ll find you back here again!
Me…I’m off to do some celebrating!!!
Thank you, Diane, for bringing joy & beauty into our lives twice a week with your blog. xoxo
Sorry I missed your Birthday! (I was on a bit of a “walkabout” myself). Hope it was wonderful and someone made you a birthday cake. Thanks for sharing your pics, your thoughts and your heart with those of us who have been lucky enough to find you here. Happy (late) BD. ; )
Hope your walkabout was everything you needed….thanks!
