A Walkabout…

Male aborigines in Australia go on something called a “Walkabout”…

It’s a rite of passage when a young man goes off into the bush to wander & live for a period of time. They follow in ancient pathways & live life the way their ancestors did, perhaps using the time for reflection.

I’m not male, Aborigine, or Australian but I’ve gone “walkabout” for a bit…

Be Back Soon!!!

But not this one – this one has me thinking.

This week -April 10th to be exact –

The Heart of Torch Lake will be one year old!

I’ve had so much fun crafting this blog & I’ve learned so much about the technology behind it. I’ve learned more about how I fit into the writing process & I’ve learned new things about myself.

I cannot find enough words to express the gratitude I feel toward  everyone who has read, kayaked, liked, sailed, shared, commented, hiked, facebooked, crafted, emailed, boated,  called, pinterested, laughed, cooked, swam, cried, followed, or in any other way encouraged me to play with this blog.

I’m sending you these photos with thanks & all possible love & gratitude!
