!#^@*(*!#

So you work to learn a new computer skill…

& at first you struggle then you begin to think you understand & finally you become overconfident. Comes the day you create a lovely new blog & the Gods or goddesses of the tech world strike! You click a wrong button & the whole thing just disappears into thin air (or wherever the Gods see fit).

So I’ve deleted all the expletives that I needed here to express my frustration & am left with only this…

RATS!!!

My apologies will have to suffice for today…too morose to continue…

I’m off to drown my sorrows…

Don't drink the water

About Diane

a long time lover of all things aquatic...swimming, sailing, kayaking, snorkeling...if it involves water...I'm in. Add traveling, snowshoeing in the winter, gardening in the spring, & lots of fresh air & sunshine. Blend with cooking, crafting, great friends & my Border Collie Zack. Toss in some sweet beekeeping. Mix in a couple of great books, my camera, clean notebook paper, & a cool pen & you pretty much have a picture of me. My friends tell me I should also add..."once a teacher...always a teacher".

I have learned to save drafts often and I keep a copy of the plain text version in notepad while I’m working. I do this for all my work emails, too. I have been smited, and know the sting.
I’m sorry you lost your work though. Bummer!

check with WordPress to see if their software has an “auto save” feature. Most word processor programs do and you can set them up to auto save at what ever interval you want. If not….then always make sure you have a glass of red wine handy when it happens!
